- Hubby and I live high on a hill in the orchard belt with our 10 year old son, 4 horses, a herd of fainting goats, a flock of chickens, a gaggle of cats, 2 mischevious dogs, turtles and fish. We are slowly becoming self-sufficient and energy independent. I'm self-employed after 14 years with a government environmental agency, working as a goat breeder/seller, horse trainer, riding instructor, healer, and free-lance self-taught computer geek. My training currently includes 300 hours of study under Dr Regan Golob. I have 120 hours of TTEAM/Ttouch training, working toward my Practioner Certification. My Wildlife Science B.S. from Penn State University included classes in biology, chemistry, anatomy, soil and crop sciences, and horse production and training. I've been riding since the mid-1970s. I earned my Level I Centered Riding instructor certification in the 1990s. I'm also a self-taught barefoot trimmer. I'm a fan of conscious horsemanship & Tamar Geller's dog training methods. In my free time, I'm studying healing techniques, rebuilding an old Yamaha Virago motorcycle, gardening, learning to fix small engines and doing various projects around the place.
